Greetings for a greener 2012!
I noticed a proposed Purbeck scheme to charge to collect garden waste. Great idea to separate out green waste, but is a charge of 35 quid much of an incentive ? Especially as I don't see them anywhere across their website offering back the composted waste to residents, even for another charge. There must be a demand. Me and my allotmenteer mate, we could use a ton or two!
A real PEAT alternative?
Does PEAT have a view?
Best wishes, Peter B.

Thank you for the Open Day Saturday 4th June, 2011.
Very well run, informative & friendly - so glad I attended; although
travelled 90miles in that day - thank you so much for organising local drivers for the visits. Much appreciated.
Thanks too for those who opened their homes & projects for me/us to view & interrogate.
Best wishes for the good work & future.

With regard to the Renewable Energy Open day 4th June, 2011 at 13:00 ...
Purbeck School, Purbeck Sports Centre ... can anyone just pitch up? How long will the session last?
I'm interested in buying a system of PV panels on my south facing roof in East Dorset, & would like to know more about them. Particularly, whether the 25yrs commitment is sensible at this stage. Unfortunately, I have another arrangement on that date - when is there to be another? Any likelihood it would be further east?
