If you’d like to receive the articles in the News section as an email to help you keep in the loop on upcoming events (including meeting dates) and relevant developments (and to save you having to check the website regularly) please sign up – see “EMAIL SUBSCRIPTION” on the right.
Once you have entered your email address and clicked “sign me up!” you’ll receive an email from WordPress (where this website is hosted) titled “[Subscribe] Posts on transitionpurbeck.wordpress.com – please confirm“. Please click the long link in pale blue in the email to confirm your subscription.
Changing the settings of your email subscription
The default setting for articles sent by email is for an email to arrive immediately after a new article in the News section is added. At most there are usually only a couple of new articles per month but during busy periods there may be more. You can easily change the settings to receive the emails all together rather than separate emails, either daily or weekly.
- Once you have successfully subscribed go to http://subscribe.wordpress.com
- Enter your email address and click “request details”.
- You will receive an email titled “Your Subscription Details” with a link in it – click the long blue link to visit your subscription page.
- The PEAT mailing list will be listed as “transitionpurbeck.wordpress.com”. You can now change the Delivery Frequency from “immediate” to “daily” or “weekly on Monday” by clicking the box where it says “immediate”. Once you have selected your preferences click “save changes”. Done!
To delete the subscription, hover the mouse under “transitionpurbeck.wordpress.com”. You will see a red “delete”. Click this.
